Teen Talk
Teen Talk is strength-based approach to working with adolescents with substance abuse. This topic driven format equips adolescents with the skills they need to address their substance abuse issues and develop healthy coping skills.

Youth Substance Abuse Program (YoSAP)
This three session educational format is designed to give a teen information about alcohol, marijuana and other illicit drugs and the risks associated with their use. It also provides information about the warning signs of addiction and alternative ways to cope with the unique challenges of adolescence. This format is designed for the teen who is just beginning to experience problems with alcohol/drugs. This program also provides teens that are learning about substance abuse the ability to assess their own usage and identify how to make healthier choices. This program can also serve as an entry point into traditional outpatient treatment by providing a foundation of information to start ongoing services.
Ongoing Substance Abuse Groups
Genesis Counseling Services offers gender specific treatment for teens who are struggling with substance abuse issues. All groups are limited to ten clients and led by a professional facilitator who specializes in adolescent issues. This group format allows teens to obtain ongoing education and support around alcohol/drug issues while being supported and challenged by their peers to maintain abstinence and develop alternative coping skills.
